DO YOU HAVE A BURNING QUESTION?

Earlier this week The Madness Trading Ring received an e-mail from Jenny Kleeman, a researcher for Channel Four Television.

On Wednesday 4th December non other than the legendary Suggs will be a guest on the evening chat show `So Graham Norton`. Jenny is looking for fans who would like to help out with the show.

If you're interested, you could help out in any of several ways:

- If you could ask Suggs one question, what would it be?

- If you have any original photos you have taken of either Suggs or Madness as a whole, if they like it it will get on the show.

- If you have any unusual Madness or Suggs memorabelia which may surprise him if it were to be featured on the show.

Jenny assures us all that any memorabelia provided on the show will NOT be damaged as a result of Graham's antics. Apparently he will only break items that he has been told he can break, so do not panic!

It's time to dig out those blank tapes as Madness are once again coming live to UK international television.

First up, and tomorrow (Friday 15th) the BBC will be holding this year's "Children in Need" appeal. At approximately 12:30am Madness will be playing live.

The following evening (Saturday 16th) from 9pm Channel Four are running `The Ultimate Chart`. A programme lasting 3 hours. No chart is complete without Madness, and you'll be pleased to know that Suggs and Carl were interviewed for the show.

News just in from Lee Thompson is that `Like Father Like Son` will be playing at The Green Man at the top of Barnet High Road (London), just past the spires, tomorrow (Saturday 7th September).

All Maddies are welcome. ENTRY IS FREE and LFLS will be playing for the entire night without any other bands to bore you to tears.

This will most likely be the last LFLS gig until at least Christmas. So, if you can get along - DO SO!

A BIT OF SPANISH MADNESS

The majority of us are all mourning a Madness-free summer due to the fact there's no Madstock this year, but it now looks like some Madness fans may get a chance for some live summer Madness after all judging from the news at www.chassmash.com:

"Madness are playing a secret gig at an undisclosed location in Spain next week. Tickets are not available for this event, but photos & a report will be coming...a word from Smash

Yes its true Madness are playing a secret show in Spain and in time the purpose of this will become all too clear, I shall make my report soon".

MIS Online has been informed of the location of this secret gig thanks to an un-named news hound, but as this is a private gig, we are keeping the details under wraps.

MADNESS MUSICAL POSTPONES OPENING

The world premiere of Madness's Our House has been put back five days.

The show's official opening night will now take place at London's Cambridge Theatre on October 21.

The first two previews have also been cancelled, with performances now starting on October 2 instead of September 30, reports What's On Stage.

Our House has been written by Tim Firth and features hits from Madness, including Baggy Trousers, It Must Be Love, House Of Fun and Night Boat To Cairo.

Following the success of Heineken Night Live the shows were made into a 1 hour Broadcast for Dutch Television Station SBS 6.

This show went out yesterday on Dutch television and here are the songs aired by Madness:

MADNESS TO PLAY LIVE GIG?!

After a number of e-mails arriving in the MIS Online mail box over the past day or so hinting of a Madness gig, it does indeed look like The Magnificent Seven will be once again appearing on stage.

MIS Online subscriber, Jacco had these words to say:

"A friend of mine told me that Madness (in the original line-up) are going to perform by the end of April in the 'Heineken Music Hall' In Amsterdam.

There was a small article in a newspaper called 'Spits' that for the first time in 10 yrs Madness are performing in Holland again.

It seems unlikely to me, but who knows..."

Robert Breeman on the other hand told us this:

"Some Dutch info that came to me through a friend who works at Planet Internet, a Dutch website that is, among other things, concerned with all things music-related. He forwarded me an e-mail stating that Madness will be playing Heineken Music Night in Rotterdam Ahoy at 18, 19 and 20 April. The nights will be presented by Suggs and Shaggy. I suppose the line-up is in an early stage and people aren't as of yet supposed to know Madness are going to play".

Rapper Eminem's new album has a Madness cover song for the first track!

'Our House'

The Lyrics are certainly different.. lots of f'ing and blinding! The Chorus is 'Our House in the middle of our street' which is the only recognisable thing from the original! (and sounding like someone trying to imitate Suggs). Limp Bizkit help with the track...

The album ' The Eminem show' is out in April..

Bad news..... the re-release of the Crunch! album has been delayed, due to problems with adding the enhanced videos.

Good News....the album will be relased (hopefully) on the 5th April and will be available via Amazon and all major outlets.

To celebrate the release, the band have provisionally been asked to play at the 100 club the same night.

`Like Father, Like Son` played a huge set to a willing audience in Barnet's Felix and Firkin.

The free gig featured 2 guest vocalists, 1st a female singer on 2 numbers and in true Madness style a man from the crowd emerged to take up the intro to `One Step Beyond` before being the nutty dancer on stage during this number.

The news from Graham Hewson is that at the Fould's school gig a few weeks back this role was taken by the legendary John Hasler no less!

Lee thompson is the singer with LFLS and occasional standup comedian depending on what instrument breaks during the set. Last week it was the drums, here are the jokes:

1 Mad Scientist invents a self lubricating Vagina.

What do I want with that? Asks the wife.
Husband says "Teach it to cook and then fuck off!"

2 This one is funnier mimed but here it is anyway......

A woman goes for a job on a Building site,
foreman says, "You've got the job. Now you
cant always hear yourself on this site so when I
want you to fetch me a tool I'll use hand signals,
so when I want a screwdriver I'll go like this
(mimes screwdrive). When I want a hammer I'll

Later in the day the foreman requires a tool and
so he turns to the woman and (mimes screwdriver)
shouts "need a screwdirver". The woman not hearing
